Thank you to all my new members working to rebuild our club this year! After Covid we had many members graduate or some students overwhelmed and trying to focus on graduation this year. The good news is that we can come back better than ever as we experienced how interconnected globally we are. More than ever we need diplomacy, compassion, and understanding. We are feeling the effects of a global pandemic still ravaging other parts of the world and major supply chain disruptions that will be impacting us through 2023.
We will be participating in the MDC MUN (https://www.fflmun.org/miami-dade) and hope to join more MUN conferences this school year and beyond. We are looking into combining with the High School Foreign Service Association. It is an American Foreign Service Association-backed organization of high school clubs that provide debate programs, Model United Nations delegations, and guest speakers to students interested in international relations.
